Re-Evaluating Germany's Blind Faith in the Sun
By Alexander Neubacher
The costs of subsidizing solar electricity have exceeded the 100-billion-euro mark in Germany, but poor results are jeopardizing the country's transition to renewable energy. The government is struggling to come up with a new concept to promote the inefficient technology in the future.

BLN Note that solar contributes just 3% of Germany's needed power. If it goes much higher there will not be enough "backup" to supply the needed power during the many sunless days. Remember solar requires a 100% real generator back up.
To the many surprised leftists out there that "no understand solar thing make no power in dark". I know you will understand this.
